Under the guidance of the School’s gymnastics coach, the focus will be on success for all in a fun and challenging atmosphere which encourages self-confidence, self-respect and co-operation.
Children will increase strength, flexibility and body awareness while facing fun and new challenges every day.
The Dance & Gymnastics camp combines elements from two of our highly popular summer camps.
Participants will have the chance to engage in a variety of dance techniques and to practise gymnastics floor-work, balance beam, vault and rings.
Students will improve overall skills, learn new elements and tricks, make up new routines, progress with flexibility and strength, practise with top coaches and make new friends.
The camp is open to all, from beginners to the more experienced.
Sport is a wonderful vehicle to develop life skills. Through sensitive leadership, we will ensure a feeling of achievement, self-worth and the pleasure of working cooperatively with others and being part of a team. The camp will place the children in an environment where they will have unforgettable experiences, develop positive personal qualities and be motivated to do more.
The Multi-Activity camp offers different activities such as: arts and crafts, gym, dance, various games, sports and science discovery.
Children will experience a fun camp with the focus on developing social skills, such as communication, cooperation, self-awareness, self-confidence, empathy and respect.
In this activity children will experiment with an array of touch, infrared, and motion sensors that can be paired as magnetic blocks with over 100 combinations.
Through fun, imaginative projects children learn how different sensors, servo motors, and wireless communication make ‘smart’ objects come to life. With just a few magnetic snaps your child will be making little robots that drive, sing and play.
The activity will be adapted to the experience of the individual student from beginner to young chef.
Participants will learn about food hygiene and safety, how to follow recipes, recognising utensils, weighing and measuring, using varied ingredients and making delicious food.
Children will also have an opportunity each day to engage in other aspects of the Camp, e.g. Sports, Dance.
The sewing camp will allow students to learn sewing or perfect their already acquired sewing techniques. Participants will be able to participate in flexible projects, recycle old clothes, and other activities such as group games and water games.
Open to both boys and girls, players are divided into groups at the start of the course based on ability and age, to ensure that players of all levels and abilities can benefit from this unique opportunity to develop their skills in "the beautiful game".
